`Frozen Rush 4’: Kashmir flagship snow race ready to kickoff in Sonamarg

Srinagar: Forget skiing, enjoy snow racing.

Frozen Rush 4, the fourth edition of the flagship snow race, has staged a comeback after a hiatus of two years. 

The event is scheduled to commence on March 24. While the flag-off and prize distribution ceremonies will take place at SKICC Or Royal Springs Golf Course, Srinagar, the races will happen in Sonamarg valley. 

“Kashmir Off Road feels happy to announce upcoming annual event- Frozen Rush 4, the fourth edition of our very successful and flagship snow race event. It is coming back after a hiatus of two years,” said Farah Zaidi, PR Director, Kashmir Off-Road)

Kashmir Off-Road is India’s premier off-road adventure, overland, and motor-sport outfit. “Our organization has featured in national and international news. We are known to curate some of the best bespoke overland expeditions to remotest and unseen corners of the Western Himalayas,” Kashmir Off Road said on its FB page.

In 2202, a 32-year-old Kashmir Off-Road car racer made the country proud by finishing second runners-up in Kartdrome Endurance Championship held in Dubai.

 Asrar was the captain of the four-member Indian contingent.  He was among the32 participants from all across the world Asrar drove Honda 4- having a stroke capacity of 390cc and 14.5 BHP in a 1.203km track. There were 17 corners on the track and it was an endurance race for six hours during nighttime.
