FCSCA employees organized blood donation camp; Div Com Kashmir was chief guest

Srinagar: A blood donation camp was organized by the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs Employees’ Association at the department’s headquarters on Monday.

Several employees voluntarily donated their blood., Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri was the chief guest on the occasion.

Lal Ded Hospital, Srinagar provided all support in holding a blood donation camp. A team of doctors from the hospital was present on the occasion.

A large number of employees and volunteers lined up to donate their blood. However, due to a lack of time, all the employees could not donate their blood.

A total of 75 units of blood were donated at the camp.

Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Vijay Kumar Bedhuri appreciated the efforts of the employees in organizing the blood camp.

He said blood donation saves many lives. He said donating blood is a great act of humanity, and urged people to come forward to save lives.

Association President Ijaz Ahmed Khan thanked employees for donating blood.
