Srinagar: The story in news agency Kashmir News Observer’s daily bulletin carried by The Kashmir Monitor on Friday had inadvertently mentioned that among the day’s deaths due to COVID-19 was a 55-year-old woman from Fateh Kadal Srinagar (without mentioning the patient’s name).
Family members of the deceased female told The Kashmir Monitor that she had tested negative for COVID-19 and passed away of cardiac arrest.
The Kashmir Monitor regrets the error and has removed that part from the news story.
