KULGAM, JULY 08: Assistant Regional Transport office Kulgam, in collaboration with the Health department Kulgam, successfully organized a medical cum eye check-up camp for commercial drivers of the district.
The camp aimed to promote road safety by ensuring drivers are in good health, particularly with respect to their vision, which plays a critical role in safe driving. A total of 60 commercial drivers attended the camp. During the camp, drivers underwent comprehensive medical and vision screening. Wherever needed, appropriate recommendations for medicines and further treatment was provided. Special focus was given to detect vision-related issues that can affect driving performance, along with guidance on preventive eye care.
