Srinagar, Jan 6: Former MLA Tangmarg and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader, Abbas Wani joined Sajad Lone’s Peoples Conference on Sunday.
Taking to social networking site Twitter, PC chairman Sajad Lone wrote: “I welcome M Abbas Wani into the caravan of change.”
Wani, who had fought and won his maiden election from the Tangmarg constituency of north Kashmir in 2014 assembly election, was among six party members who had rebelled against the party leadership over alleged nepotism.
Earlier, former minister Imran Raza Ansari, former MLA Zadibal Abid Ansari, Raja Aijaz Khan and ex-MLA Zanskar Baqir Rizvi joined Peoples conference.
