Srinagar: Prominent Emirati content creator, vlogger, and social media personality Khalid Al-Amiri, has arrived in Kashmir for his first-ever visit to the Valley.
Al-Amiri landed in Srinagar as part of his scheduled series of vlogs and videos, which are expected to showcase Kashmir’s culture, landscapes, and everyday life to his millions of followers across the world.
Soon after his arrival, he shared a photograph of Dal Lake on social media handles, which received an overwhelming response.
Fans from Jammu and Kashmir flooded the comments section with welcome messages and travel suggestions.
Describing his first impressions, Al-Amiri posted pictures from his first day in Kashmir, calling the region “beautiful” and expressing admiration for its scenic charm.
On Day One of his series, he tasted traditional Masala Roti, which he described as incredibly tasty. His posts quickly went viral, further amplifying global interest in the Valley.
Fans and followers have also been actively recommending local Kashmiri cuisine for him to try during his stay. Suggestions poured in for traditional dishes such as harissa and the iconic Wazwan feast, along with Kehwa and popular street food, reflecting the strong cultural connection and enthusiasm surrounding his visit.
This visit marks Al-Amiri’s maiden trip to Kashmir, and his upcoming content is expected to offer a fresh, personal perspective on the region.
Amiri has earlier visited India and reviewed various foods. During his visits, he met various celebrities and experienced various cultures within the country.
Last year, Khalid also announced his debut in the Malayalam film industry with a cameo appearance in the upcoming action entertainer Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies.
Pertinently, Kashmir has become a favourite destination for influencers with scores of food bloggers visiting the valley to review various delicacies.
