A threat email warning of a bomb on an IndiGo flight was received at Mumbai airport on Saturday. However, Mumbai police Sunday said that during the inspection of the flight, nothing was found.
“Further investigation underway,” a Mumbai Police official said.
Earlier, security agencies were alerted after receiving a threatening email at the Mumbai airport. Bombs were said to have been planted on Indigo flight 6E 6045 at the Mumbai airport. On Saturday night (October 1), an email was received at the Mumbai airport, in which it was written that a bomb had been planted on the Indigo flight. This flight was to go from Mumbai to Ahmedabad at night.
The Indigo flight was delayed late at night. Security agencies are investigating who sent the email and why.
