JAMMU, MARCH 30: Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary, today extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Navratri, a festival symbolising devotion, strength and triumph of good over evil.
In his felicitations, the Deputy Chief Minister emphasised the spiritual significance of Navratri, highlighting it as a time for self-discipline, prayer and inner purification. He urged the people to celebrate the festival with devotion while upholding the values of harmony and inclusivity.

The Deputy Chief Minister also encouraged the citizens to uphold the spirit of unity and compassion, sharing joy with those in need and strengthening the bonds of brotherhood across communities.
Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo has extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the first day of Navratri.
In her message, Sakeena said that this holy festival reminds us to adhere the true spirit of honesty, righteousness and truthfulness in our lives. She urged people to embrace the festival’s spirit of unity, while upholding traditions that bring communities together.
She expressed hope that this Navratri would bring renewed strength and inspiration for a brighter future, fostering unity and progress in our society.
The Minister also prayed for peace, progress and prosperity for entire Jammu and Kashmir.
