Srinagar, April 26: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has forecasted mainly dry weather for Jammu and Kashmir today, with a chance of light rain or thundershowers at isolated locations by afternoon.
According to the MeT, dry conditions are expected to continue from April 27 to April 30, while light rain and thundershowers may occur at a few places between May 2 and 3.
The department also cautioned of hot and dry conditions in the Jammu Division, warning of possible heatwave spells at isolated spots.
Residents have been advised to stay hydrated, consume plenty of fluids, and avoid outdoor activities during peak afternoon hours (12-3 pm).
