KUPWARA, AUGUST 21: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Shrikant Balasaheb Suse today convened a meeting of concerned officers at the meeting hall of D.C Office here to review the developmental works and beautification initiatives in Kupwara town.
The meeting aimed to take stock of the progress on key infrastructure and civic projects, with a special focus on improving urban aesthetics, enhancing public facilities, and ensuring time-bound completion of various works under execution.
During the meeting, DC emphasized the importance of inter-departmental coordination to achieve tangible outcomes on the ground. He directed all departments to adhere to timelines and maintain quality standards in all developmental activities.
Suse highlighted the significance of maintaining cleanliness and implementing sustainable beautification measures to uplift the overall image of Kupwara town. He directed the MC to conduct special cleanliness drives in collaboration with all stakeholders including district administration, Education department, traders, transporters and street vendors to spread awareness about keeping the town clean and green, besides, imposing fines on the offenders for littering the town.
