PULWAMA, AUGUST 07: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pulwama, Dr. Basharat Qayoom, today chaired a meeting at the District Administrative Complex to review the preparations for the forthcoming Tiranga Rally/Yatra, being organised as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign 2025.
During the meeting, Additional Deputy Commissioner Pulwama briefed the chair about the departmental readiness and the measures being put in place to ensure smooth conduct of the event. It was also informed that as a run up to mega Tiranga rally at the district level, Tiranga rallies at sub-division, tehsil and block levels will also be organised to create a festive and patriotic atmosphere in the district.
While reviewing the arrangements, DC issued directions to all concerned officers to ensure massive participation of officials and the general public, including students, youth groups, elected representatives, PRIs, families of martyrs, civil society members and community stakeholders to reflect the patriotic spirit and collective enthusiasm of the district.
Additionally, he stressed the need for strict adherence to the Flag Code and directed the officials to brief the participants beforehand to ensure that the dignity and sanctity of the National Flag are upheld at all levels.
