Jammu: Chairperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board, Darakshan Andrabi visited the Eidgah at Residency Road to review the arrangements for worshippers ahead of the upcoming Eid al-Fitr.
During the visit, Andrabi inspected various facilities at the Eidgah to ensure that proper arrangements are in place for the large number of devotees expected to offer Eid prayers. She directed the concerned officials to maintain proper cleanliness in and around the prayer ground and ensure adequate arrangements for water supply, electricity, and other essential services.
The Waqf Board chairperson stressed the importance of providing a comfortable and hygienic environment for worshippers and instructed officials to complete all necessary preparations well before Eid. She also asked the authorities to ensure proper coordination among different departments for smooth conduct of the congregational prayers.
Officials accompanying Andrabi assured that all required facilities will be put in place so that people can offer Eid prayers without any inconvenience.
