COVID19: Three fresh cases in Jammu, number reaches 41

Srinagar, Mar 30: While no fresh cases of coronavirus have been declared in Kashmir, three more positive cases have been found in Jammu taking the total number of such cases in the division to 12 and across J&K to 41.  

Government spokesperson Rohit Kansal tweeted the status update: No new cases in Kashmir Division; In Jammu Division 3 new positive cases. Total for J&K now 41.”

Earlier on Sunday, as many as five cases were reported in Kashmir even as the valley witnessed second death due to the virus after an elderly man from Tangmarg passed away at Chest Diseases Hospital here.

As many as 29 cases have been reported in the Kashmir division while 12 cases were reported from Jammu.
