COVID19: Hope flickers as six more COVID19 patients recover at CD hospital

Srinagar, Apr 4: Doctors’ efforts in Kashmir are bearing fruit as six more COVID-19 positive patients have tested negative and are on way to recovery.

Sharing the good news, Dr Naveed Nazir Shah, HoD Chest Diseases hospital Srinagar, said all the six will be discharged after one more sample of theirs is tested to ensure their recovery.

“More good news….. 5 of positive patients turned negative … another sample to be taken..as quarantine period will be over ..will be discharged … together v can do it.. break the chain,” Dr Shah tweeted.

He later added in another tweet: “One more negative… so the total score of conversion moves to 7….break the chain .. please follow administrative and health advisories.”   

On Friday Dr Shah had informed people about one patient recovering fully at the hospital.

DC Srinagar Dr Shahid Choudhary cheered for the good news and said he saw a hope ahead.

“With 7 CoVID-19 positive cases successfully recovering we see a hope ahead. Pl cooperate in contact tracing, surveillance and quarantine,” the DC tweeted.

J&K so far has 75 cases of coronavirus, of which two have passed away, while scores are on way to recovery.
