COVID19: Back from leave, two ‘unsymptomatic’ SSB personnel put under observation in Handwara

Srinagar, Mar 19:  Two personnel from Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) after returning from their native states have been quarantined in North Kashmir’s Handwara town, news agency Kashmir News Trust reported.

The two personnel who arrived in Handwara from Madhya Pradesh and Bihar were taken Handwara hospital after which they were put under observation for 24 hours at PHC Nathnusa.

Block Medical Officer, Handwara, Abdul Majid told Kashmir News Trust that the samples of both the men have been sent to the laboratory for testing and they are waiting for the results.

“As a precautionary measure, they have been quarantined, otherwise, they didn’t show any symptoms. They are under observation as they have travel history. I appeal people not to spread rumours. Everything is fine in Handwara,” Block Medical Officer said. (KNT)
