COVID19: 57 stranded persons in Iran flown to Kargil

Kargil: After completing their quarantine period, 57 stranded persons in Iran have been brought back to Kargil in a special flight on Tuesday.

Deputy Commissioner Kargil, Baseer-ul-Haq Choudhary said that 57 pilgrims and students returned from Iran after competing quarantine period.

He said that they landed in a special flight from Hindon city of Iran.

Choudhary said that Kargil administration is actively pursuing the return of next batch stranded persons in Iran.

Many Kargil residents have died in Iran due to Covid-19 while others are still under quarantine. (KNT)
