Complaint registered against fake Facebook page misusing Kashmir Monitor identity

Srinagar, Sep 2: The Kashmir Monitor has lodged a formal complaint with the police against a fake Facebook page ‘Monitor to Kashmir’ misusing our identity and denting our reputation by posting wrong information.

The Kashmir Monitor completely denies any links with this or any other Facebook page which uses our name or logo or refers any news to us.

Readers and our online followers are requested to check the veracity of our genuine page by looking for the blue tick which indicates that the page is authenticated from Facebook.

We request our readers to click on the link https://www.facebook.com/monitorthekashmir/ and mark it as spam. Facebook will block the account if more and more people mark it as spam.
