Cold, Dry Weather to Persist in J&K for Next 10 Days: MeT

Srinagar, Dec 11: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar on Wednesday predicted that cold and dry weather conditions will persist across several areas of Jammu & Kashmir over the next ten days.

In its latest forecast, the department mentioned that the region may experience generally cloudy skies with light snowfall over isolated higher altitudes during the evening and night of December 11.

The weather is expected to remain predominantly dry from December 12 to 20, with no significant weather activity anticipated during this period.

Issuing an advisory, the department cautioned tourists, travelers, and transporters about sub-zero temperatures and icy conditions on roads, especially over critical mountain passes and higher altitudes. It advised adhering to guidelines issued by the administration and traffic authorities.
