Srinagar : Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today chaired a high-level review meeting at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar to accelerate the implementation of key announcements made in Budget 2026-27, with a strong emphasis on ensuring timely delivery of welfare schemes across Jammu and Kashmir.
The meeting reviewed the progress on various developmental initiatives and welfare programmes announced in the budget, with directions issued to concerned departments to adhere strictly to timelines and ensure effective execution on the ground.
Deputy Chief Minister, Council of Ministers, Advisor to the Chief Minister, Chief Secretary, and all Administrative Secretaries were present during the meeting. The Chief Minister stressed the importance of coordinated efforts among departments to achieve tangible results and maximize benefits for the public.
He reiterated the government’s commitment to transparent governance and efficient sedrvice delivery, underscoring that all schemes must reach the intended beneficiaries without delay.
