Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah announced progress in power restoration across Kashmir following heavy snowfall.
In a post on X, the CM stated, “Of the 41 dysfunctional 33KV feeders in Kashmir, 37 have been restored and charged. Similarly, 639 out of 739 dysfunctional 11KV feeders have been restored, providing major relief to the valley. The majority of the remaining feeders are expected to be restored by evening.”
He also lauded the Power Development Department (PDD) for their dedicated efforts, saying, “Kudos to the PDD team for their relentless efforts during this snowfall in such a short time.
