Chandigarh, Dec 26: On the occasion of Veer Baal Diwas, BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh paid homage at Gurudwara Rakab Ganj Sahib, honoring the unparalleled sacrifice of the Sahibzadas.

Chugh described the courage and martyrdom of the Sahibzadas as a golden chapter in Indian history, highlighting their unwavering dedication to the protection of the nation and religion. He emphasized that their sacrifice remains an eternal source of inspiration for people across the world.

He noted that over 16,000 programs are being organized nationwide under the leadership of the BJP to commemorate Veer Baal Diwas. Under the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, these events are taking place across the country—from Kerala to Kanyakumari and Guwahati to Kashmir. The programs aim to honor the Sahibzadas’ sacrifices and guide future generations in understanding their legacy.

“By initiating Veer Baal Diwas, Prime Minister Modi has ensured that the valor and heroism of the Sahibzadas inspire generations to come,” Chugh stated. He added that brave children are being honored at Rashtrapati Bhavan as part of the celebrations, a moment of immense pride. The Prime Minister will also celebrate the occasion with thousands of children at Bharat Mandapam later in the day.

Chugh highlighted the Sahibzadas’ supreme sacrifice, noting that they stood firm in defense of faith and culture, rejecting power, greed, and forced conversions in favor of martyrdom. Their sacrifice, he said, serves as a timeless lesson in courage and dedication to the protection of religion and the nation.

He further remarked that the Sahibzadas’ martyrdom is a jewel in the crown of Indian culture, with Guru Gobind Singh Ji and his four sons making the ultimate sacrifice for dharma and the nation. This heroic chapter, Chugh added, is not just Punjab’s legacy but a cherished treasure of India’s heritage.

Chugh concluded by emphasizing that Veer Baal Diwas will inspire millions of children across the country to follow in the Sahibzadas’ footsteps, instilling the values of loyalty, dedication, and sacrifice for the nation and faith in their hearts.
