Srinagar, Mar 9: Army has reiterated its appeal to the mothers of Kashmir, urging them to keep their beloved away from militancy.
Speaking at a passing out parade, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Srinagar-based 15 Corps, Lieutenant General Kanwal Jeet Singh Dhillon said, “I personally appeal the mothers of Kashmir whose beloved have taken up arms to bring them into mainstream.”

“Bring your beloved back into mainstream, I am telling you (mothers) through media that I guarantee their (youth) safety, security and absorption in mainstream,” he said.
Earlier in his first media interaction here post Lethpora attack, Lt Gen KJS Dhillon had also appealed the mothers of the society to bring back their sons from the path of violence.
