Delhi: A biker in Gurugram was brutally assaulted by a group of heavily built men in a disturbing incident captured on video. The video, which has since gone viral, shows a terrified biker pleading for mercy as two bodybuilder-type assailants attack him — one thumping his chest and shaking his helmet, while another smacks his head, causing the visor to fly off.
According to Gurugram Police, the incident occurred on Sunday when a group of bikers were en route from Ambience Mall to Pataudi for breakfast. The violence broke out on the Dwarka Expressway following an argument over rash driving by men in a Scorpio SUV.
An FIR has been registered at Sector 37 Police Station after a local resident filed a complaint. In another video, one of the attackers can be seen striking the biker’s helmet with a baseball bat. The biker, still pleading, receives multiple blows while bystanders look on but do not intervene.
The same group also targeted the biker’s superbike, smashing it repeatedly with the bat while hurling abuses.
Police confirmed the attackers have been identified and assured arrests will follow soon.
