Baramulla records over 7.03% voter turnout by 9:00 am

SRINAGAR, MAY 20: With polling underway in the fifth phase across Baramulla Parliamentary Constituency, voters are turning out in large numbers to cast their votes.

Long queues of voters, especially women and first-time voters in traditional outfits, were seen at polling stations, eager to participate in the festival of democracy.

According to the Chief Election Officer’s office in J&K, 7.03 per cent of votes were cast in Baramulla PC by 9:00 am. The Election Commission has implemented all necessary arrangements to ensure a fair and transparent electoral process.

Polling began at 7 am across all 2103 polling stations in the constituency, following successful mock polls at each location.
