Srinagar: The Punjab Government established Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRS-PTU), Bathinda (Punjab) will provide a golden opportunity to students of far-flung areas of Jammu +ACY- Kashmir to get world-class quality technical education, best placements in government as well as private sector, safe, secure and conducive environment for study in the premier institute.
The comments were made by MRS-PTU, Vice Chancellor, renowned Academician, and Researcher Prof. Buta Singh Sidhu while addressing a press conference here on Saturday.
He further said the university has world-class research scientists and renowned faculty that will help the students of J +ACY-K realize dreams in higher education, getting prestigious jobs in the Government and private sector, and studying abroad through various pathway programs initiated by the premier University of Punjab.
The MRS-PTU will also provide attractive scholarship schemes for J +ACY- K students, Punjab Chief Minister Scholarship for meritorious students up to 100 percent fee waiver for brilliant students, besides Welfare Schemes of the Center and state government for the students.
MRS-PTU Chairman Board of Governors-cum-Principal Secretary to Government of Punjab, Department of Technical Education +ACY- Industrial Training Punjab, Shri Rahul Bhandari IAS and Vice Chancellor Prof. Buta Singh Sidhu recently launched the Admission portal of the University for the Academic Sessions 2022-23. The Admission for Academic Session 2022-23 is open for Engineering, Architecture and Planning, Commerce and Management, Pharmacy, Food Science and Technology, Agriculture, Aeronautical, Aerospace, Computational Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Skill Development and Online Certified Courses in Emerging Technologies i.e. Data Science, Blockchain, Programming Languages, Cyber Crime, Machine Learning, Patents +ACY- IPR, Business Intelligence and many others.
Giving details , Prof. Sidhu said the MRS-PTU under the patronage of Punjab government also provides a unique +ACI-Enrol Here, Study Abroad+ACI- Pathway programme to save the innocent people from exploitation of Travel agents. The scheme will prove a boon for students craving to study Abroad.
Under its robust international exchange programme, the university has collaboration with top global universities like Wayne State University (USA), Thompson Rivers University (Canada), Synergy University (Russia), University Canada West, etc.
The vibrant and sprawling main campus of the university spreads across 150 acres of land with royal architecture and modern infrastructure has four constituent colleges Punjab State Aeronautical Engineering College, Patiala, Punjab Institute of Technologies (PIT’s) at Moga , Rajpura (Patiala), Nangarh (Bathinda) and around 60 affiliated colleges with the university.
