Srinagar, Mar 17: A day after his appointment as one of the four advisors to Lt Governor G C Murmu, Baseer Ahmad Khan was assigned the charge of six different government departments.
Governor directed that Baseer Khan shall exercise powers of the Minister in
respect of Power Development, Rural Development & Panchayat Raj, Disaster
Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction, culture, tourism and

along with Farooq Khan, was appointed as advisor to the Lt Governor on November
14 last year, was allocated the charge of Revenue, Planning, Development and
Monitoring, Industries and commerce, School Education, Higher Education,
Technical Education, and Agriculture Production and Horticulture.

In respect of
other departments, the order said the papers related to the GAD, Home
Department and Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) shall be submitted by the
respective administrative secretaries through the chief secretary to the Lt
Papers related to
the All India Services (IAS, IPS and IFS) shall be submitted by the respective
administrative secretaries through the General Administration Department and
the chief secretary for consideration of the Lt Governor.
