The application form for JKCET 2018 has been released by the Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) on February 01, 2018. All aspiring candidates for the exam will need to fill the application form online on or before March 03, 2018. However, it must be known to candidates that the last day for uploading the documents and paying the application fee is February 28, 2018.
Before filling the online application form for JKCET, candidates must ensure that they satisfy the eligibility conditions for it. The entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted in offline mode on April 22, 2018. It is a state level entrance examination conducted for aspirants seeking admission in B. Tech and B. Arch programs in various private and government colleges of Jammu and Kashmir.
Applicants should have the required scanned images of photograph, signature and thumb impression in specified format, before filling the application form. Along with this, candidates will be required to submit the application fee of INR 800 on or before March 03. The application fee can be remitted either online through the “Integrated Payment Gateway” with the help of Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking facility or through Bank Challan via offline mode.
In order to be eligible for JKCET 2018, candidates must have completed the age of 17 years on or before December 31, 2018. Also, they must be a citizen of Jammu and Kashmir and should possess domicile of the state. As far as educational qualification is concerned, candidates should have successfully completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50%. However, reserved candidates are required to obtain 40 % in 10+2 or equivalent to be eligible.
JKCET 2018 Admit Cards will be released in April, 2018 and can be accessed only by the eligible candidates. They must carry their hall ticket to the exam center on the day of exam. An offline facility to collect the admit card will also be available for candidates. Without valid admit cards, candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam center.
Applicants can easily fill the application form online on the official website and select ‘CET Engineering 2018’. After which, they should click on ‘e-Application’ tab and fill the registration form to get unique application number. Furthermore, application form payment of INR 800 for both General and Reserved category can be made via online or offline mode.
Candidates need to fill basic, personal, communicational and educational details in the application form. After filling the application form, a recent passport size scanned photograph with a light background should be uploaded. The date and candidate’s name should be written on the photograph.
The scanned image of candidates’ signature and photograph should be in jpg/ jpeg format and not exceed 50 Kb. After uploading documents and successfully filling the application form, candidates must take a print out of the submitted application form of JKCET and keep it safe with them for all future references. It must be noted that students do not need to send any copy of the application form or documents to JKBOPEE.
