“So far this year, out of the 899 allotted quota, NIT Srinagar has admitted over 871 students across different branches of B.Tech. Our teams worked tirelessly from 8 AM to 8 PM to ensure a hassle-free experience for students and parents,” he said.

Prof. Mir lauded the efforts of his team, including the Associate Deans, ERP official & staffs, and other members who worked tirelessly to ensure smooth admissions.

He also acknowledged the valuable support of the Dean Student Welfare, Administration, and essential services such as the Health Centre, Sanitation, and Security, who collectively ensured that students and parents received all facilities under one roof. “We even achieved a record admission of 231 candidates in a single day, which is a remarkable achievement. We are equally thankful to everyone for their support who made this process smooth and efficient. Even the Registrar and In-charge Director personally inspected the admission process, which further boosted the morale of the teams,” Dean of Academic Affairs said.
