50-year-old man found hanging

Srinagar, Apr 27: A body of a 50-year old man was recovered under mysterious conditions from an orchard at Dangerpora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Official sources said that the locals of the area spotted the body of the man hanging in the orchard near his house at Washbugh, Dangerpora and immediately informed concerned police station about it.
A police team reached the spot and taken the body for postmortem and other legal medico formalities.
The deceased has been identified as Abdul Ahad Dar(50) son of Mohammad Ismail Dar 50 of Dangerpora Washbugh.
SSP Pulwama Mohammad Aslam Choudary while confirming the incident said that they have registered a case under section 174 CrPc and initiated further investigations into the incident.
He said that the man had gone for Fajar prayers but his body was found mysteriously hanging from a tree, SSP said.
