Srinagar, Oct 14: The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday booked five persons under draconian public safety act (PSA) in northern Kashmir’s Bandipora district over charges of stone pelting, reports said.
The five persons, reports said, belong to Kaloosa, Nusoo and Hajin areas of the district and have been under unlawful activities.
The youth have been identified as Aadil Bashir Bhat son of Bashir Ahmad Bhat a resident of Nusoo. Farooq Ahmad Ganai son of Ghulam Ahmad Ganai, Sajad Hussain Ganai son of Ghulam Rasool Ganai, Bilal Ahmad Ganai son of Bashir Ahmad Ganai, all residents of Ganai Mohalla Kaloosa and Muhammad Azhar Din Parrey resident son of Abdul Rahman Parrey of Chandegeer Hajin.
Sources said that the youth have been sent to Kot Balwal jail in Jammu.
