The official added: “This time we will try to conduct the exams of 10th, 11th, and 12th standard a month earlier so that students will be able to carry on their studies as per the previous academic session (Nov-Dec).”
The official said, “We will try to announce the results at the earliest. I think it will take at least 45-50 days to assess the question papers and some more days to prepare the results respectively.”
The official further said that in order to safeguard the time of candidates, “The students will be given a provisional admission so that their time is not wasted.”
Earlier, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said that the government has decided to restore the academic session up to 9th standard to November-December instead of the March session.
Omar further said, “However, in the case of the students of 10th to 12th classes, we cannot restore the academic session this year but in 2025, we will revert the schedule as per the old scheme and their exams will also be held before winter vacations.”
