SRINAGAR, MARCH 30: J&K Waqf Board, Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi has greeted people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-al-Fitr and prayed for the peace, prosperity and Allah’s grace for everyone. “It is the occasion to thank God for the strength given to us by Him to have successfully completed the month long fasting with full surrender to Him. It is the occasion to resolve to serve mankind with more zeal and dedication”, said Andrabi. She said that adequate preparations for the Eid prayers have been done by the Board at all places of Worship. She appealed to all to celebrate Eid while extending the helping hand to the people in need around us.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat has conveyed warmest wishes to thr people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. Dr Bilal in his message extended his good wishes to the people on the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. The festival is marked as the occasion when month-long fasting (Roza) of Ramadan comes to an end. Eid-Ul-Fitr symbolizes the need to perform deeds of charity by giving Zakat to the poor and needy, giving back to the community by engaging in humanitarian acts. The festival is characterised by spreading the feelings of love, compassion and affection among fellow human beings. The DC added while people are delighted to celebrate the completion of Ramadan, the spirit should continue throughout the year with core values of charity, cooperation and compassion that drives humanity on this planet.
