SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 19: The Vihangam Yog meditation session was successfully organized in Kashmir on 17th and 18th November 2024.
Supoojya Sant Pravar Vigyan Deo Jee Maharaj came to Kashmir after traveling approximately 35,000 km from Kanyakumari. He has been on a nationwide meditation awareness campaign, Rashtravyapi Sankalp Yatra, which began on 7th July 2024. As part of this campaign, he visited every state and several union territories before concluding the tour in Kashmir.
On 17th November, the Vihangam Yog meditation session was held at 61 BN CRPF, Srinagar, while on 18th November, it was organized on the campus of PTS, Manigam.
Sant Pravar Vigyan Deo Jee Maharaj emphasized that loving and serving the nation is the purest form of duty. He stated that the true aim of the Sankalp Yatra is to foster self-connection, which can help spread inner peace and bliss, ultimately leading to global peace and prosperity.
During the sessions, Sant Pravar explained the benefits of Yog and meditation, highlighting neurological research on Vihangam Yog meditation. He expressed his gratitude to the soldiers and citizens of Kashmir for uniting to celebrate Yog and meditation.
Sant Pravar further emphasized that unity is the foundation of Yog. “When we are united, strength is celebrated,” he said. He also underscored the importance of virtues such as humanity, brotherhood, cooperation, compassion, and truthfulness in leading a meaningful life.
Participants from both the CRPF battalion and the Police Training School expressed their happiness and satisfaction with the meditation techniques taught during the sessions. They conveyed their gratitude to Sant Pravar Vigyan Deo Jee Maharaj for his divine presence. Sant Pravar has invited the people of Kashmir to attend the 101st annual congregation of the Vihangam Yog Organization, to be held in Varanasi on 6th and 7th December 2024.
