Video: Actor Aamir Khan’s daughter gets engaged in filmi style

Mumbai: In the season of Bollywood weddings, it is the turn of Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan to get engaged to her long-time beau Nupur Shikhare.

The couple took to Instagram to share a post announcing engagement at a cycling event.

In the video, Nupur could be seen dressed in his cycling costume and walking toward his girlfriend, who is standing in the stands.

Nupur went down on his knee with a ring in his hand and asked:  “Will you marry me?” Ira responded with  ‘Yes’ and they sealed the deal with a kiss. The crowd around them was seen cheering and clapping.

Actor Fatima Sana Shaikh was quick to comment:  “This is the sweetest thing I have ever seen. Uff. @nupur_shikhare so filmy uff.”

Actor Huma Qureshi wrote, “OmG !! congratulations you both.”

Rhea Chakraborty also reacted. She wrote, “Congratulations you guys “.

Sushmita Sen’s Kashmiri beau Rohman Shawl said:  “Congratulations you two @nupur_shikhare @khan.ira.”
