Lucknow, Apr 13: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended warm greetings on Baisakhi and Khalsa Panth Foundation Day, honouring the spiritual and historical legacy of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
Speaking at Yahiyaganj Gurudwara, CM Yogi hailed the formation of the Khalsa Panth in 1699 as a beacon of courage and spiritual revival. He credited Guru Gobind Singh Ji for establishing the Panth to resist tyranny and protect dharma during Aurangzeb’s oppressive reign.
He lauded the Sikh community for their enduring commitment to national service and described Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s teachings as an eternal source of inspiration for all Indians.
Highlighting the equality in Guru Ji’s selection of the Panj Pyare, CM Yogi called for unity and awareness against forced religious conversions, especially in Punjab and Terai regions.
Describing Guru Gobind Singh Ji as “the son of a martyred father and father of martyred sons,” the Chief Minister saluted his unmatched sacrifice and bravery.
