State Football Championship: 15-yr-old Zaid helps RKFC knock out JK Bank

Srinagar, Apr 1: A series of brilliant saves by 15-year-old goal keeper Syed Zaid helped Real Kashmir Football Club (RKFC) knockout state’s powerhouse, J&K Bank in the ongoing State Championship being held at the TRC Ground on Monday.

The young goalkeeper not only made at least six saves in open play but also saved two spotkicks in the penalty shootout to take RKFC to the semifinals of the ongoing championship.

Real Kashmir squad comprising mostly of school going teens defended resolutely against the all-powerful J&K Bank, which had likes of Prem Kumar, Rohit Kumar, and Adnan Ayoub in their ranks.
