Andergam: In the ongoing Rehman T20 Cricket Tournament Andergam, Blue Star Naidkhai defeated YCC Yadipora by 48 runs in a high scoring semifinal match to enter finals of the tournament.
Earlier, Blue Star won the toss and opted to bat first on a bating Paradise wicket and post a mammoth total of 208 runs on board in the allotted 20 overs.
The highlight of the day was Jehangir’s magnificent ton .Fazim also scored handy 61 runs for YCC Yadipora.
Gowher took 3 wickets while as Sadiq and Nazir Tiger took one wicket each.
In reply, YCC Yadipora was bundled out for 151 runs. From YCC, Muzaffar showed some resistance with a well compiled 60.
Jehangir was declared Man of the match for his memorable knock of 102 runs and Mansoor received the best moment of the match award for taking 3 wickets.
The second semifinal match of the tournament was played between Friends Xi Tangmarag and Sahara CC Magam, the final match of the tournament will be played on Sunday.
The tournament is organized by Sports Association Andergam.
