New Delhi, May 15: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead a key meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) today at 11 a.m. in New Delhi to review the national security situation.

The meeting will focus on the fallout of ‘Operation Sindoor’ and the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam that killed security personnel. Strategic responses to Pakistan, military preparedness, intelligence assessments, and diplomatic options are expected to dominate the agenda.

This comes a day after PM Modi visited the Adampur Airbase in Punjab, where he met armed forces personnel and hailed their bravery. “When our forces defeat threats like nuclear blackmail, the whole nation echoes ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’,” he said, reinforcing national unity and military pride.

The CCS meet involves top ministers and officials from Defence, Home, External Affairs, and Intelligence, and is considered crucial amid heightened regional tensions.
