People are making their own manifesto for BJP: Darakhshan

SUMBAL, AUGUST 12: Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, National Executive Member of BJP and Chairperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board, chaired the Manifesto Committee Outreach Programme of Bandipora district held at Sumbal today.

BJP leaders Arif Raja, Engineer Aijaz Hussain, and District President BJP Bandipora, Naseer Lone, were also part of the programme. Twenty-one delegations of local representatives from different walks of life met the Manifesto Committee and presented their points of view.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi said that the BJP believes in grassroots politics, which is why the party has launched this mega public outreach programme to understand people’s aspirations and views regarding the party’s future agendas and roadmaps. “People of J&K are making their own manifesto for the Bharatiya Janata Party, and the party believes in public guidance and vision to lead its policies and programmes,” said Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi in her address.

She said it was encouraging to see people endorsing BJP’s vision of peace and development. “The holistic development of Jammu & Kashmir in a peaceful atmosphere is the vision of our Prime Minister Modiji, which has laid the foundation for a progressive J&K. Now, our youth don’t die on a daily basis, but they are realizing their dreams and emerging as potential contributors in life,” said the BJP NEC Member. Andrabi lauded the party leadership of Bandipora for their impressive public outreach. “We are gathering the inputs of the people to shape our future plans, and our manifesto will be the document of the people of J&K,” said Andrabi.

Earlier, she was accorded a very warm welcome on her arrival at the town.
