Paramilitary officer dies of cardiac arrest in south Kashmir

Srinagar: A paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Inspector died due to cardiac arrest in Nillow area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam on Tuesday, officials said.

Officials said that the SI of 18 battalion of CRPF was posted at Nillow area in Kulgam when he suffered a heart attack while he was on duty.

He was shifted to the hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead, the officials said.

A police officer while confirming the death of the Inspector identified the deceased as Ravi Kumar from Himachal Pradesh. (KNO)
