“The government brutality and its crimes against common people in Jammu and Kashmir are so grave and heart wrenching that they don’t need any excuse to highlight them, Hurriyat (G) Conference chairman, Syed Ali Geelani said in a statement. Commenting on the statement by the Home Minister, wherein he had said: “Separatists in Kashmir use every opportunity to provoke the masses and incite anti-India Sentiment”.

We wholeheartedly wish them good and honestly want them to live in peace and prosperity. We are not fond of criticizing India nor are we in search of any excuses to hammer you out.

Expressing deep shock and grief over the heavy death toll after a tsunami hit the coast on Indonesia’s Sunda Strait, Geelani said that human loss anywhere is painful. Natural tragedies unnerve and gloom a conscious soul, but are helpless to rectify it, as it is beyond his control.
