Noted producer becomes proud mother

Producer Ekta Kapoor is known for her very famous daily soaps on television, some of them being aired for more than a decade. She also produces feature films occasionally under her banner Sri Balaji Telefilms. She has now become a proud mother to a baby boy, through surrogacy.

According to the reports from Mumbai, the boy was born on January 27 and the Kapoor family will welcome the newborn baby to their home soon. Ekta’s brother, Tushar, had also become a father to a baby boy a couple of years ago through surrogacy. In fact, Ekta is the one who named her nephew as Lakshya at that time.

Apart from producing TV serials, Ekata made two films last year, Veere Di Wedding and Laila Majnu. This year, she has films like Raj Kumar Rao’s Mental Hai Kya, Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl, and Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra starrer Jabariya Jodi in the lineup.
