Srinagar, Jun 03: Hurriyat (M) has expressed serious concern and condemned the killing of a youth Kaiser Ahmad Bhat of Fateh-Kadal and injuring other youth Muhammad Younis Bhat of Dalgate in government forces action by mowing down vehicle over them.

The Hurriyat said such incidents exhibits “open aggression and worst form of State terrorism unleashed on the people of Kashmir”.

“It is because of the unbridled powers given to the forces and the lack of accountability; every day innocent civilians are brutally killed, which is condemnable in all forms,” it said adding that “brutal use of force and the reign of terror unleashed on the mourners who were carrying the body of Kaiser Ahmad reflects that we are not even allowed to mourn the death of our dear ones.”

Hurriyat (M) said with each passing day the anger among the people across Kashmir towards the government forces and the ruling dispensation is increasing.

“On one hand, government claims that there are positive results to their cessation of hostilities against the people, but on the other killings, arrests and use of brute force continue to suppress people,” Huriyat (M) said.

Meanwhile, on the directions of chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, a high-level delegation comprising Mufti Ghulam Rasool Samoon, Muhammad Shafi Khan, Ghulam Qadir Beigh, Muhammad Yaseen Shah and others visited the residence of Kaiser and condoled the sad demise with bereaved family besides conveyed the condolence message of Mirwaiz sahib.
