Masarat Alam brought to Srinagar for hearing, shifted back to Kotbalwal

Srinagar, Aug 12: The incarcerated chairman of Muslim League Jammu and Kashmir MasaratAalam Bhat here on today brought from KotBhalwal Jail, Jammu to Srinagar for the hearing of a case lodged against him in Police Station Nowhatta.

League Chairman MasratAalam was produced before Additional District and Session Judge where after hearing the arguments; the judge fixed the next hearing of the said case on 14 of Sep 2018.

In a statement, League Spokesman Sajad Ayobi said after hearing, the Masarat was taken back to Kotbalwal Jail Jammu.

“State, Central Govt as well sets new policies and methods for his continued imprisonment under baseless cases, which is worst kind of human rights violation and is highly condemnable,” the spokesman said.
