Malik pays tribute to Mirwaiz Farooq, Gani Lone on their anniversaries

Srinagar, May 20: While paying the rich tributes to Mirwaiz Muhammad Farooq and Khawaja Abdul Gani Lone Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chief Mohammad Yasin Malik on Sunday said that they both represent the essence of unity and oneness of Kashmiri nation.

Mirwaiz Mohammad Farooq as a young man strived for the return and recovery of “Moyay Muqadas” under the banner of a united front and till his last breath stood and strived for unity among Kashmiris and Abdul Gani Lone breathed his last while defending unity and oneness of this nation.

According to a statement issued by JKLF, Chairman JKLF who is in police custody from last many days, in his message on the anniversaries of both Mirwaiz Mohammad Farooq and Abdul Gani Lone, Malik said that the best tribute to be offered to these great sons of soil is to safeguard unity and oneness among the ranks and files of resistance camp.

He said that they both represented the essence of unity among Kashmiris and it was our duty to stand united and one. JKLF chairman said that the freedom struggle of Kashmiris is adorned with the blood and therefore no power on earth can defeat it by any measures.

While appealing people to march towards Eid Gah and gather there to pay tributes to great “martyrs”, JKLF chairman said that joint resistance leadership call should be followed in this regard in letter and spirit.
