Jumping onto the bandwagon, Lenovo is also reportedly launching a smartphone with no bezels. A new teaser has been released by a Lenovo executive indicating that a ‘full screen’ smartphone is in the offing. Going by the teaser, this new device will probably not sport the notch display, and go for the true blue ‘full screen’ display. The teaser image also reveals that the new Lenovo smartphone may be launched on June 14.

The teaser was posted by Lenovo Group Vice President Chang Cheng on Weibo. A portion of the display is seen in the teaser image hinting that Lenovo may not opt for the notch to house all the sensors. The full screen smartphone has not been given a name yet, but presumably more will be revealed running up to the unveil. Cheng claims that by removing the camera, bezels, and antennas; Lenovo was able to achieve more than 95 percent screen-to-body ratio for this upcoming smartphone.

If there is no notch display, then probably the front camera flips up just like the Vivo APEX, but this is pure speculation. The Vivo APEX currently offers screen to body ratio at 91 percent, and Lenovo may be looking to challenge that with the upcoming smartphone.

With this teaser out, Lenovo has at least confirmed the arrival of a new smartphone in June, however it will be launched only in China initially. There’s no word on the specifications or pricing of the smartphone yet. In March, Lenovo launched the K5 and K5 Play exclusively in China, and both the smartphones feature a dual rear camera setup and fullscreen displays. The Lenovo K5 is priced at CNY 899 (roughly Rs. 9,300) in China, while the Lenovo K5 Play (aka Lenovo K5 Lite) is available in the country priced at CNY 699 (roughly Rs. 7,200).
