The residents of Dargam village of Pattan are forced to send their kids on such precarious route to the nearest government middle school so that they can study and secure their future.There are around 10 villages situated on the banks of the Nullah. There is no concrete bridge available to connect the areas.In rainy days and as the summer approaches, the stream gushes even more fiercely.Hundreds of students from Dargam and other nearby villages gather at the stream every day.

The state government has accorded sanction to conversion of 200 bedded maternity and 300 bedded pediatrics hospital at Bemina into a 500 bedded pediatric hospital. The 70-Cr project will improve the existing tertiary healthcare infrastructure. Once completed, the hospital will reduce patient rush at GB Pant.
