Governor’s Secretariat reopens in Srinagar

Srinagar, May 07: The Governor’s Secretariat, which closed at Jammu on 27th April evening, reopened at the Raj Bhavan, Srinagar, today morning.
Governor N. N. Vohra went around the various wings of the Raj Bhavan and met the officers and staff of the Governor’s Secretariat. He advised all the functionaries to ensure cleanliness, efficiency, promptitude and proper maintenance of the official records. He also directed time bound digitization of all important records and de-weeding of irrelevant papers. The Governor also went around the Raj Bhavan estate and directed assured readiness of the fire fighting system and proper upkeep of the gardens.
Umang Narula, Principal Secretary to the Governor accompanied the Governor.
