Srinagar, Feb 05: Advisor to Governor K Vijay Kumar Tuesday said that the rehabilitation policy for militants will be reviewed with all seriousness.

Talking to reporters here, Kumar said that the policy is available in various drafts. “The Governor has asked to review the policy with all seriousness.

All top officers are in consultation reviewing the policy and will be submitted to the Governor accordingly,” he said.

Asked if the new policy will be framed, Kumar said all I can say that the Governor has asked to review the policy and we will submit it to the centre for final approval.

It may be noted that recently the wives of the ex-militants who returned under CM”s rehab policy staged a series protests demanding welfare and proper citizenship or they will be allowed to return back to Pakistan.
