Kolkata: As Real Kashmir FC has proved its mettle by overpowering opponents in away games too, the club’s fans expect it to perform even better in the rest of the I-League, especially in the contest against Mohun Bagan coming Sunday.

With only two losses in 10 games, RKFC topped the table on Friday after drawing against East Bengal and churning out a valuable point at as difficult ground a ground as Salt lake Stadium.

RKFC, which is currently on Kolkata tour, holds the second rank in the League with 18 points. The team is scheduled to lock horns with Kolkata giant Mohun Bagan FC on January 6 at the same venue.

Football fans in Kashmir and across India are elated with the performances of the club, which has had a dream debut after qualifying for the League last year.

Back home, scores of football fans, who attended all the matches of RKFC at Astro Turf in Srinagar, express their support for the club through social media.
